MEET OUR TEAM

Bespoke Transitions is headed by a dynamic team that believes in delivering the highest quality of care and support possible.

CARL SIMPSON

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Carl believes that one of the most challenging and difficult times for any young person is when they are tasked to make life changing decisions out their future yet do not have the knowledge or support needed to be successful in making them. In 2003 Carl started looking after children and young people in a residential setting displaying many different challenging and harmful behaviours. He finished his residential career as a Registered Manager of a multi bedded children’s care home in February 2014 where he then proceeded to set up Bespoke Transitions Limited. His aim was to offer high standards of accommodation and a tailored support package to meet the individual needs of all the children and young people looking to make that leap to independent living.

Matthew has worked within the Residential care sector since 2009. He has a real passion for supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes and build positive futures. Matthew Started as a volunteer for Axis Youth Offenders is 2009 as a mentor. In 2010 he started his career as a Residential Care Practitioner and in February 2014 he became a Residential Children’s home Manger, managing a three bedded home. He has experience working with young people who display a wide range of complex needs where structure, support, consistency, rules, boundaries, positive role models and relationships are the key ingredients to help young people to strive to achieve their goals. Matthew feels the last piece of the jigsaw is helping young people to gain self confidence and knowledge to live independently in order to make the transition to independent living post 18.

CARE MANAGER
SUPPORT WORKERS

All of our support workers are experienced in working with children and young people and are qualified to a minimum of Level 3 standard. Additionally, they are further trained and developed in all of the required areas to deliver a high standard of support which is specifically focused on each individual young person and highlights their own particular needs. The package of support delivered consists of a few of the following; living skills, employment, education, money management and banking and with additional support given post 18.

The role of our Night Porters is a unique part of the service that Bespoke Transitions provides as a means of safeguarding the children and young people who are in our care. This involves helping the young people to manage the number of guests they invite to their property and to feel safe should they be alone in their property as we understand that this part of their life journey can be a lonely and scary one.

NIGHT PORTERS

The staff are excellent at engaging young people and working with them to help them achieve their potential. Communication is consistent and weekly progress reports are provided.
